The architecture of Technology

The collapse of the Berlin wall on November 9, 1989 signaled a decisive shift from industrial to an information society, where the electronic information and telematic technologies, their social, political, economic and cultural impact became more significant.

So we shifted from a world structured by grids to a world organized like networks, with this new international system "Globalization" with it's own technologies that helped to create the defining perspective of globalization taking as a symbol " The World Wide Web".

So with this new technologies architects can built what engineers told them before that it's impossible. That's what Gehry did using new software programs.
Here we can say that everything is possible the convergence of art and technology.

So architecture must be socially effective, as well as aesthetically satisfying.
The challenge for the architect is to transform the world into a work of Art.
